I am not sure how to start this blog but to say that it is to share a journey in the life of me and my wife. We are both in our upper forties with our youngest child being 17 and our oldest 22. We were not planning on having another child but life moves you when you least expect it. No she is not pregnant but this is going to take about nine months or more to complete.
Adoption is a word that brings a smile to your face when you hear others talk about it or when you think about it for about 30 seconds. We had those moments and thoughts, we even talked about it when we were younger in passing. But things changed, I changed. What I should say is God changed me and our plans. This is probably a bad place to stop but my eyes tell me it is way to late to be typing as they blur. Since it took me all evening to figure out how to set this blog up I needed to type a little to feel that i accomplished something tonight.
