Let me say thank you to everyone who has already purchased a shirt from us. It is totally amazing how fast the shirts have been moving. We wanted to start conservatively in ordering shirts because we didn’t want to end up with unsold shirts. We ordered 155 shirts, thinking okay we can probably sale this many shirts. We picked them up on May 6th. Today is May 11th, 5 days into it and we have sold 136 shirts. That is about 27 shirts per day, AMAZING! I have orders for shirts that I can not fill yet because we don’t have the correct sizes. Free advise, get more XL if you sale shirts, that is our biggest mover. We pre-sold a few shirts a couple days before we had them on social media to try to get the ball rolling. While the shirts were still being printed we picked up enough shirts to fill a few of the first orders while we waited on the rest to get done. We were off to deliver them while they were still warm from the ink dryer. I have been taken pictures of us with our donors at ever delivery and then posting it on Instagram and Facebook with a short message of how we appreciated them and their family. Saying something special about that individual or family is not hard. I begin to get emotional when I start to think about the love and compassion all of you have shown. It allows us to witness God’s love and to see how His plans are carried out no matter how far or distant the Journey seems. It was not long after the first post we got more orders. Then every picture and post about our adoption added more and more orders. Shelly and I have been driving all over town delivering and posing with some of the best and kind hearted people we know. We have mailed some across state and we have 2 that are going to Canada.
I want to give a Huge THANK YOU to my in-laws, Margret and George. They own Metro Print screen printing and they have donated all the shirts and the labor to print them. Every shirt we sale, 100% of the money goes to bring home our daughter from China. Shelly’s brother, Eddie has been the one printing them and I have to say they look great.
The shirts read Love Makes A Family and this is ringing so true. You all have made me appreciate the love God has given even more. My pastor is always saying that a church is not a building it is “YOU” or “US” and that is the truth. I know that not everyone that has given to us so far is a believer but that doesn’t mean God is not using them to bring about His plan.
If you need a shirt contact me and we will get it to you.
