UGH…

I got an email from CCAI on May 1st that the orphanage had received our care package. Wow, that was quick. They asked me what was in it because the orphanage wanted to verify they had received everything. They named a few items so I was worried that it had been opened and stuff taken out. I told them and they said okay. Well we didn’t hear anything else so I think, did they get it all or not? I asked again but the orphanage had not responded to CCAI. Then on May 6th I get an email from FedEx saying our package was encountering international clearance delays. Wait, they said they got it now FedEx is saying it has not been delivered. I am totally confused.

FedEx calls me on May 13th and says they need another phone number and or email address to deliver the package. No one is answering the phone of the number we gave them when we shipped it. What makes this worst is that they said they need the info before the 16th other wise the package would be returned.

CCAI sent another email to them. I was worried if they would answer so we can find out if they really have the package or not. Today I got an email from CCAI informing us they had not received the package but they did give us a new phone number and email address. I called FedEx back and gave them the info they needed. HOPEFULLY it gets delivered in the next couple of days. The items in this package have no money value to speak of but they have a lot of emotional value and love that we so want to share with Wei Wei.
